HAZRAT ABU

SAEED KHUDRI

(RADI ALLAHU ANHU)

 

Name: He is a beloved companion of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). His actual name was Sa’ad ibn Maalik.

 

Title: He was known as Abu Saeed.

 

About Him: He fought in twelve battles with the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). He joined the ranks of the Sahaba-e-Kiraam during the Battle of Uhud, but was returned because he was still very young. His beloved father was made shaheed in the Battle of Uhud. Hazrat Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu) also narrated various Ahadith from him.

 

Wisaal: He passed away in Madinatul Munawwarah in either 64 or 74 Hijri.
